dream come true

today, my jewellery had it's vancouver debut!
in a shop called 'dream',
they got a nice little corner spot
next to some sea shells and gem stones.

they wiggled a bit and made themselves comfortable, 

now they can work on their tan for a little while under the bright cabinet lights.

                                              i work at the best boutique in town.

                                              i love all designers the shop carries,

                                              i love it when customers drop in to say "hi!"

                                              i love humming along to sarah vaughan while stitching on buttons,

                                              i love seeing someone walk out of change room with a glow on her face.

                                    

                                              but when she leaves with a full shopping bag, 

                                              there's a naked hanger,

                                              waiting for new clothes to wear.
