oh, what to wear...

'naked hanger' earring

                                              i work at the best boutique in town.

                                              i love all designers the shop carries,

                                              i love it when customers drop in to say "hi!"

                                              i love humming along to sarah vaughan while stitching on buttons,

                                              i love seeing someone walk out of change room with a glow on her face.

                                    

                                              but when she leaves with a full shopping bag, 

                                              there's a naked hanger,

                                              waiting for new clothes to wear.

 mama cow is sooo eco-friendly!

 she does not drive a car,

 she shakes her head and says "MOo" to all the plastic bags, 

 and she is a dedicated vegan. 

 

 when her cousin moose came to visit last week, wearing a stylish 'tourist' pouch,
 she knew she had to have one too!
 but wait, is there a softer one as white as milk?

in the great white north,

moose was getting a little tired of winter chills.

even though it was past ground hog day,
the weather forecast said it would snow, AGAIN...

he was big and furry, but even for a tough moose like him,

the thought of feeling a warm breeze and smelling green grass was just too appealing.

last week, he remembered his cousin-in-law, mama cow.

she just had a baby, he thought maybe it's time to pay a little visit in a green grassy land.

so he packed his credit card and a lot of quarters in his tourist pouch, 

and boarded a canada rail train to vancouver.
